Shipping Policy

All shipping charges will automatically compute during checkout prior to the completion of your order.

(A) DELIVERY POLICY

  1. HIGH CULTURED MYANMAR offers free shipping on all orders with minimum spending of 200,000 MMK within Myanmar address only (i.e if the customer request to deliver the parcel using the courier/bus service, High Cultured will cover only the cost of shipping fees from the warehouse to the bus/courier terminal and the shipping charges from the bus/ courier service will be paid by the customer). But during the promotions and events, HIGH CULTURED MYANMAR offers free shipping only on the minimum spending of 200,000 MMK.
  2. Orders processing takes around 3 working hours during weekdays, excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders placed after 5pm will be processed on the next working day. Delivery to rural or remote areas may take an additional 2-3 working days.
  3. High Cultured Myanmar only uses Royal Express, and Myanmar Post as the standard delivery courier for local delivery. For international shipping, we use DHL service.
  4. We deliver all orders using standard packaging materials. Any special packaging as requested by the customer is subject to additional charges ( these special services are available, for more info contact customer service). 
  5. The buyer bears the responsibility for the correct input of the delivery address; in case anything goes wrong with the shipment of an order due to an error in the delivery address made by the buyer, HIGH CULTURED MYANMAR cannot be held responsible for the loss of the shipment. In case HIGH CULTURED MYANMAR needs additional information regarding a delivery address, the buyer may be approached by HIGH CULTURED MYANMAR in order to provide additional information. A delay in the delivery may occur in case additional information regarding the delivery address is needed.
    We will use all reasonable efforts to deliver the order within the expected delivery terms to the delivery address. We cannot be held liable for any delays in the delivery of an order.
  6. All deliveries must be signed upon receipt. If the buyer fails to sign the parcel, please contact the courier centre within the specified time frame for the next day delivery or self-pickup. HIGH CULTURED MYANMAR do not entertain any inquiries about the delay of shipment once your orders have been handled to the courier centre. HIGH CULTURED MYANMAR will not entertain or will not be responsible for any lost, damaged or faulty parcel after 7 working days of tracking number that we sent to the buyer. Please liaise with the courier center at your end. 
  7. Tracking number/related delivery service contact number will only be sent via email after 3 working days of order processing, do contact the courier services with your tracking number for further inquiries.
  8. Strictly no refund for shipping & handling fees.
  9. Preorders estimated shipping time is 1-2 months from the cut off date.
  10. Shipping fee is subject to change anytime without prior notice.

 

(B) PEAK SEASONS

During peak seasons & promotional period, order processing may be extended longer than usual lead time due to heavy surges in online orders – It is advised to place your orders one weeks in advance in addition to the regular lead time required for festive periods such as Myanmar New Year, Anniversary event, Special event, Black Friday and Calendar New Year Event etc. HIGH CULTURED MYANMAR will not be responsible for the delay of the shipment or if the delivery cannot be implemented. 

(C) LOCAL SHIPPING 

All Yangon township less than 5kg – 2500- 4000 MMK

All Mandalay townships less than 5kg – 3500- 4000 MMK

Upper Myanmar less than 5 kg   – 3500-7000 MMK

Lower Myanmar less than 5 kg  – 3500-7000 MMK

East Myanmar less than 5 kg  – 3500-7000 MMK

West Myanmar less than 5 kg  – 3500-7000 MMK

For above 5 kg – 1000 MMk per kg

These fees are not fixed for rural or remote areas the charges are changeable

(E) TRACKING

Please copy the tracking number from your email to see the status of your order delivery if we use Myanmar Post Service.

 Code activation may take up a few hours. 

For other services, you can directly contact us or to deliver a service phone number.

(F) MISSING OF ITEMS***

Please always refuse to accept any parcel which  seems the package has been sealed back with tapes, glue, double sided tapes, or other unknown packaging.

In case some items are missing from your online order, contact us first. Then, check if the package is damaged. As some shipments go through a long route, sometimes unpleasant things happen, and the packages get damaged or could be lost. In the meantime, please contact us within 24-hours after you had received otherwise the claims can’t be done:

When you contact us, make sure 

  • Attached some pictures and invoice/receipt to the email to proof.
  • Everything MUST have a copy with you, please take pictures of everything to make sure that you won’t miss anything important. 

***THIS SUBMISSION MUST BE DONE WITHIN 24-HOURS AFTER RECEIVING THE PARCEL. OTHERWISE, CLAIMS CAN’T BE DONE.***

 PLEASE NOTE THAT: To ensure prompt delivery, kindly ensure that you provide us with an accurate shipping address, contact number and email address. Failure to do so may risk our courier service being unable to deliver in a timely and prompt manner. Second delivery fee will cost the customer once the parcel is returned back to us by the courier company. This unclaimed parcel should be collected within 25 business days after it has successfully arrived at our warehouse. Should no one be available to collect the parcel, the order may be forfeited after the stipulated time given. Therefore, we will not refund any amount that you have spent on your order. Any appeals/complaints will be ignored and no refund shall be applied. HIGH CULTURED MYANMAR reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions in any time without prior notice.

HIGH CULTURED WILL NOT ENTERTAIN OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST, DAMAGED OR FAULTY PARCEL AFTER 7 WORKING DAYS OF TRACKING NUMBER THAT WE SENT TO YOU. PLEASE LIAISE WITH THE COURIER CENTER AT YOUR END IF YOUR PARCEL HAS NOT DELIVERED.
